What is a good air fill? - schalge - 08-28-2007 And how do you get one? Re: What is a good air fill? - Chris H - 08-28-2007 Perhaps we should start with what you feel a bad air fill is. To me, any tank with air in it is bad, but I'm a snob that way. There are better choices for breathing gas to use while diving. ;D Re: What is a good air fill? - DiveCaptDean - 08-28-2007 Or perhaps the other direction...away from the death gas snobbies ;D...isnt any air fill that gets you to and from the dive a good fill?...... I fear you have opened a can of worms on this one......have fun gang Re: What is a good air fill? - dfreeman - 08-28-2007 A full tank of death gas. Makes me want to go diving right now. Doug Re: What is a good air fill? - gfmayhew - 08-28-2007 mmmmmm.....deathgas..... Re: What is a good air fill? - Chris H - 08-29-2007 Another possible answer is to spend $5000-$10000 on a fill station and fill whatever you want. Re: What is a good air fill? - dfreeman - 08-29-2007 And make all of the death gas that you want! Doug Re: What is a good air fill? - gfmayhew - 08-30-2007 You don't need a fill station for that. Just some Imperial Stout and a couple of brats. > Re: What is a good air fill? - matt t. - 08-30-2007 A good air (or any scuba gas) fill is at, or higher than the tanks "rated" pressure. Usually this is achieved by filling your own tanks slowly. YMMV. Re: What is a good air fill? - DiveCaptDean - 08-30-2007 Matt- Can i borrow your mig welder..i have some new din valves i need to weld to my hp100's..i figure i should be able to get the full boost from a Haskel 15,000 psi if i do that.... |
