No problem.

Has anyone been to Red Granite in the last few weeks? How are the conditions up there. Looking to go this weekend if the weather is decent.

Re: Red Granite conditions & report - ttph - 07-06-2011

We were up there about a month ago. Visibility was horrible (3-5 ft) above 35 ft. Once below, it was pretty good, maybe around 20-25 ft or so and quite dark.

Hope this helps.

I was there last weekend with my kids free diving.  Vis was pretty decent shallow.  We could see the boat from the surface so that is close to 20 feet of vertical vis.  We scootered it a few weeks ago and it was pretty decent up to 70 feet.

Does anyone have a dive map of Red Granite that they would be willing to share? I am pretty familiar with the NE shallower area but would like to know more about the rest of it.

Hit Red Granite last night to check out the Titan 25W X-Series LED canister light. Visibility was pretty poor, between 5-10 ft. We got in on the west side and rolled down to 100 ft. Visibility varied, but not nearly as good as it was when I was up there a month and 1/2 ago. Disappointing, but the light performed quite well.
