Nice write up of the trip. I was in the same area exactly 3 years ago. This is the high season and the area should be packed with people and the planes and dive boats full. This is the best season for diving Phuket.
This area will feel a major economic problem for this area if the tourists do not come back soon.

I thought I'd post a few (quite a few) pics from the trip. I've color corrected most of these (with the Mandrake action). After color correction, they didn't turn out too bad for a first time U/W photographer!
