Gale warnings, 8-10' waves, charter was cancelled. :'(

Which means that it was a perfect time to get out and surf the waves at Bradford beach in a dive kayak! ;D

Here's a shot of me punching through a wave today.

The water felt like it was in the low 50's and it sure felt nice when the sun came out.

In the end he got up and through many times- those picutres just aren't as intersting to show. Wink

THese boats are really tough and my ten year old boat looks almost as good as his brand new one. 8)

Neat looking...I don't think I would want to go through all that with a load of dive gear on the kayak though. I'd be frustrated as all get out and probably looking for a bunch of dive gear...heh.

We were just playing around in the surf- no dive gear.

If you lived out on the West coast you would be going through surf like that on your dive kayak to get out to the kelp beds.

It isn't that bad as you have everything tied down inside of your boat- in case it rolls on you.
