Hey,
Looks like the end of the month will pull the Carringtons mooring as Jim will be up diving with me, and do the same move with the submerged float and float line as this makes it so easy to find in spring and if any one needs to dive her they can tie off with a small boat,I know there are many good months left to dive but,,the winds will start to blow and I think this will be a early fall!I hope I am wrong.

Hi Brad,
I think it's a good move to get the buoy off if you can.  I agree w/ you completely... more good diving days possible, but it might be a nasty fall.  Better to get the buoy when the getting is good, rather than lose it.

I'll probably start pulling some in late September.  I'll keep everyone updated on their status.

Happy Diving,
Kathy

got the mooring off  [Carrington]
may of miffed a few fishermen as they use it to mark the base of the ledge-as Jon Paul told me some one said we stole it! well it has a float line for any divers to tie off to dive! and found a dive flag and snorkel no diver with it! sign was cleaned off, and vis was fair on the bottom,
Then had a heck of a cook out at the dive lodge with several locals and divers and a group of pals from home, told some stories and well lots of dive stories with the commercial divers at the ship yards in Sturgeon bay!  Tic Tac Toe on the clock the commercial divers will know that one!

Hello Divers!
Went out to Pilot Island on Saturday and removed the buoy.  The Meridian and Frank O'Connor buoys need to come off still.  If anyone's heading out there before I do and would like to pull a buoy, let me know!  Otherwise, I'll let you know on the buoy status as the fall wears on.
Happy Diving,
Kathy

Hey Divers!

We went out and pulled the O'Connor buoys today.  I think we made record time!  It took Roger Rice and I less than two hours to get out there, get the buoys off, get back and unload the boat!  I think it's a new record for buoy pulling!  (Especially considering it's almost a forty mile run round trip.)

All that's left up in this area is the Meridian.  I'll be contacting Bob LaViolette soon to see the status on the Lyons and Ocean Wave.  If I get any info on those I'll be sure to pass it along.

Happy Diving,
Kathy

Bob LaViolette and Tim Austin got the Lyons and Ocean Wave buoys pulled on the same weekend we did the O'Connor.

Jim Robinson, Roger Rice, and I took off the Meridian buoy yesterday.  So we're all done w/ the buoys up in this area.
