Re: Drysuit repair? - MikeS - 04-30-2005 OK. Dove today at Redgranite and WOOHOOO, dry as a bone. Leak fixed. Case closed (for now). Re: Drysuit repair? - Omicron - 04-30-2005 Awesome! We hit up Wazee today...fun times! Re: Drysuit repair? - Swimjim - 05-01-2005 Sounds good. Glad you found the leak. Frustrating little buggers aren't they, but it makes it all the better once they are fixed. Good job! Jim Re: Drysuit repair? - schultz - 08-23-2005 What's the turn around time on sending a drysuit to Superior Drysuit Repair? I'll be going to Munising this weekend to get a few more dives off the sucker, but I figure as long as I'm spending 20 days in Fiji, I might as well send the thing off to get all the seals replaced. Re: Drysuit repair? - Chris H - 08-23-2005 Call them and ask. For and extra $50 they will put you on an expidite list that means your suit goes to the front of the line instead of the back when it gets there. I would think seals are a walk in the park for him. Re: Drysuit repair? - LKunze - 08-23-2005 I send my suit to them every year for a test and evaluation for any leaks and any other repairs that may be needed. Typically their turnaround has been 3 weeks. Re: Drysuit repair? - jasondbaker - 08-23-2005 Your turnaround time will depend on the time of year. You will probably have to wait 3-4 weeks during peak dive season. Re: Drysuit repair? - Vtach - 08-23-2005 I sent them (Superior) my suit during the middle of June, paid the extra $50 to "hurry up" the process and had the suit back in about 12 days. I had the boots replaced, and bellows pocket added. He even fixed my crappy install of the other bellows pocket as a bonus. VERY happy with the work!! Re: Drysuit repair? - drysuits - 03-18-2006 If any one has had any problems with repairs from Dry Suits Plus in Milwaukee they should get back with us, we have a 100% guarantee. I have seen other repair facilities have failed repairs also, we are only human. Wouldn't you think that the people that bad mouth us would first contact us and have a reason to complain? If you have any complaints, call us; Re: Drysuit repair? - drifter1430 - 03-21-2006 I have had no complaints... in fact you may see my suit soon if that damn factory wrist dump keeps giving me grief.... |
