Re: Lake Wazee - mrclean - 02-08-2005 It's hard to believe you could be a line tender and work without three layers on. Will March be this nice. Re: Lake Wazee - mrclean - 02-08-2005 The water clarity was excellent. Too bad it had to end. Re: Lake Wazee - pink_fins - 02-08-2005 Great Pictures. Hopefully the weather will be as nice on the 19 of March. Gotta do at least one ice dive this season gail ;D Re: Lake Wazee - dfreeman - 02-27-2005 Some nice ice diving on Lake Wazee this Saturday. Good time and a good group, especially with the sun shining down. There were plenty of groups out diving, we were just one of 3 groups. It was a great day to dive. Here is Chris taking the long walk to the ice hole. Later he was at the platform at 50 feet. This platform is new to me. Looks like a good one. Re: Lake Wazee - dfreeman - 02-27-2005 Here is another diver taking in the sights around the new platform. Re: Lake Wazee - dfreeman - 02-27-2005 Todd took in the sites and sounds also. It was great to dive with Chris and Todd. We had a blast. The group added a visual aid for Chris and Todd by labeling the ice above them. Very helpful. Re: Lake Wazee - dfreeman - 02-27-2005 Going back to the hole is always a welcome trip. You would hate to lose your way. Plenty of people on top to support us. Re: Lake Wazee - dfreeman - 02-27-2005 I think that this is how fish see us. Great day of diving, we had a blast. Celebrated with meat and drinks afterward. When the weather is nice, ice diving is a blast. See you at the bottom. Doug Re: Lake Wazee - Chris H - 02-27-2005 Great pictures Doug. There wasn't as much ambient light today because of the weather, but the conditions were still good under the ice. At one point, it was snowing so hard topside that you couldn't see across the lake. Oh yeah, the words for the day are overboard discharge Re: Lake Wazee - Harpoon Larry - 02-27-2005 Cool Pics, vis looks great. |
