How many holes were punched last night to achieve the overboard discharge?  Todd was thinking of three.

Great pics! Who puts in the platforms and is Keith going to relocate inside the park?

Re: Lake Wazee - MikeS - 02-28-2005

a platform at 50'?  Why?  Seems like 65'  or 20' would be the depths used for training.

Re: Lake Wazee - matt t. - 03-01-2005

Why?

Re: Lake Wazee - Omicron - 03-01-2005

I'm guessing here, but...

20' is a good depth for OW classes, and 65' is a good depth for AOW classes because it qualifies as "deep" by PADI standards...I think???

Coffee hasn't kicked in yet this morning either, so I could be totally on the wrong track.

Re: Lake Wazee - Chris H - 03-01-2005

AOW students should be well beyond needing a platform to stay out of the mud.  Too bad that isn't the case a lot of times.  It is a wierd depth for a platform.

Re: Lake Wazee - MikeS - 03-01-2005

Yes, Omicron, that's what I meant.  65 for AOW.  20 for OW.  So, why 50?

Re: Lake Wazee - Vtach - 03-01-2005

This platform is right near the ledge of a wall that runs down to around 110 feet.  The 60-70 foot area is pretty much vertical with no flat areas.
