Re: PINE LAKE, near Chenequa, anybody Dive it? - MikeS - 07-31-2006 Do you know anything about the lake? Viz? Things to see? Re: PINE LAKE, near Chenequa, anybody Dive it? - scubagal - 08-02-2006 I learned about this site from ERIN, a young 17 year old diver working part time at Underwater Connections in Delafield. She has about as many dives as I do and has some great stories about attending "scuba camps" in Saba (Sava?). We looked at the map in the store together and she said it was not a deep lake but had some fun stuff to see by the island. That is about as much as I know so far. Tell me about YOU, wanna come dive "my" lake? The thermocline SURE feels GOOD these days! Wanna join us for a dive? Re: PINE LAKE, near Chenequa, anybody Dive it? - Dewit2it - 08-03-2006 Will probably be snorkeling/SASY in Door County this weekend with my sister/nephews. My sister dives but the kids aren't certified yet. It will be great getting in the water after working outdoors for the last week at EAA. Hopefully Cave Point will be diveable. If you are looking for possible dive sites, head to the local sporting goods store. Most carry the Sportsman's Connection map books. They run around $20. They cover every lake with public access for boat launching. |
