Yes, they are. I've heard some of the old timers say that they're pretty good to eat if prepared the right way.

Thanks, I guess you are suppose to boil them and eat them with butter. I think they boil burbot once a year in Washington Island, I hear the FIBs go nuts over them.

If you want to start saving them we can try to beat the Door County party and catch the FIB's before they get that far north. Maybe we can make it an every Friday event. $15.00 all you can slobber.
