Michigan may have a good year
I took a trip up to Door County yesterday and viz looked excellent!!!
 At Cave Point, I have never seen the water that clear! It looked like 100+ vis. Other locations were the same. The only bad spot was Renold's Pier with the wave action kicking up the sand near shore. Further out it looked good. I could even see bottom of the ship canal after sunset. Maybe the Quagga mussels have hit Michigan/Huron. They filter year round unlike the zebras. Pic is Cave Point rock shelves.

That would be cool. I really want to dive the Hackley hard this year. Not to mention the Roen Barge and tug. I need to try out my new boat.
I'm hoping to get started on bouys the 15th of May. dIVE-dIVA, Ready to go yet? |

 We may still get our marina fixed up this spring, which would delay launching until it's finished. We'll know more soon, and I'll let all of you know!Kathy
