I will be in Stevens Point around the 20th of June. I will not necessarily have time to get over to Wazee. Are there interesting or decent dive sites near point?? I have never been there before....

Lake Emily or Sunset Lake are your best bets. Lake Emily is just off Hwy 10 east of Point and Sunset Lake is a bit northeast of Point off of Cty A north of 161. You can find them on mapquest or stop in and ask directions at Divepoint Scuba. It has been a while since I have dove at either spot. There are a few things to see at Sunset but really nothing other than weeds and fish at Emily.

Lake Emily is usually only good in May. But it can be real good.

Bunch of my freedivin' buddies were in Sunset Lake a few weeks ago. Vis. was probably a good 30-50', but the ice was still on top. By now the lake must've turned over so its gone way down... I don't know as of know but will check later next week...
