Wazee Ice Dive Social This Weekend

The Wazee Ice Dive social is this weekend - usually a very good time - they cut the holes and have warm food/drinks.

Remember to call and let him know that you are going so they can plan food and all that stuff - 715-284-5181.

This is the info that I got in an email from the shop:

Ice Diving Social:
Feb. 7th and March 6th
Starting at 10am both days
Come out and join us for a day of Ice Diving.
Wazee Lake offers the clearest ice diving experience you could ever
imagine, with the visibility 70' -100'.
For $10. per diver and $5. for non diver we will supply hot drinks and
hot food for the event. (this does not include the dive fee)
We will supply the ropes and harnesses and cut the holes.
Pre register to assure we have enough food.
The weather needs to be 20 degrees and warmer.

Chris and I are planning on attending on Saturday. I gave Keith a call and put our names down on the list. I hope the weather holds, I really need to get some diving in

I sent Keith an e-mail saying that I would be there. Looking forward to some good ice diving. Hopefully the weather will work for us this time. Time for some water adventures.

Wazee Ice report from 4:00 PM today (Friday). Keith and I went out and cut some test holes with a chainsaw. The ice is 12-14 inches thick, so it won't too bad to cut out and get out of there. Last Feb ice social it was over two feet thick.

A lot of the snow has already been cleared off too, that's nice see.

It will be good to meet some of the folks from this board.

Saturday was a beautiful day ice diving. The weather cooperated and the sun was shining all day. It was nice to meet some of the folks from this board and I'm looking forward to the March ice dive.

I was going to post some pictures, but they are big to attach.

Doug and Jason, I can email you some pics with you guys in them if you want.
