Playa Del Carmen info needed

Just one week back from Roatan and I am already looking for some information on resorts in PdC.

We were there 2 years ago and stayed at Aventura Spa Palace.  It was great. (need to find a different one)Guide picked us up for 3 days and we dove the cenotes in the area.

Now I want to show my regular diving buddy in 2007  the beauty of the caverns.

I am looking for an All inclusive, on the beach, if possible.
The spa was okay but we never used much of it. Oh, did eat at the 5 resturants.  But really don't need the other stuff.

Hopefully someone has had some experience with another place. Not so opulant. (sp ?)

You might check The Riu Resorts there is like 5 of them along the beach In Playa and Playacar.

We stayed at the RIU Playacar and LOVED it. We checked out all the RIU resorts in  Playa and would recomend any of them.
