Re: Wetsuits
Mountain Bay has a few of their Henderson rental suits for sale. I think they were the standard neoprene version in either 7mm or 7/5mm and around $175. The suits looked to be in new to near new condition.
Since you're in GB, check out Green Bay Scuba or Aqua Center. If you plan on diving around here I would look into drysuits.

Re: Wetsuits
When diving wet, I much prefer a hooded vest to a bibbed hood. Big difference.
I would have to concur: I dive The Big Lake (Lake Michigan) & Ice Dive with a Hooded Vest & a 7ml Bare; I'm warm and Comfy! The Hooded Vest Makes A BIG Difference! A Dry Suite is the way to go up here, But I get by without one. It all depends upon your comfort level! |

Re: Wetsuits
Wet suit, wet suit? Is that when you do not close your dry suit zipper all of the way?

Re: Wetsuits
Yes, go with a custom suit, it's well worth the little extra you may end up paying. I picked up a suit from two years ago. it's technically a 5mil and has served me well from hour long deco dives in Lake Michigan to cave dives in Florida. The things are durable, warm, and reasonable.

Re: Wetsuits
I strongly reccomend pinnacle's line of wet suits. I own one and it's great-- I stay warm and fairly dry( as dry as one can be in a wet suit).
