Several of the mnscuba.com guys are planning a group dive up near Brainerd, MN in the Crosby iron mines. This is a great dive area. Imagine about 20+ Wazee-like pits all in one area. The area is undeveloped and a bit more rugged than Wazee. But that only adds to the adventure. Crosby is about 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. Everyone here is welcome to join the group.

Sounds tempting...out of curiosity, 2.5 hours away from Minneapolis in which direction??

Crosby is almost straight north of mnpls... automap shows it at just over 200 miles.. it's very near Brainard, Mn. Check it out at .. there's a map at the bottom of that link with the pits on it. I think they claim something like 50+ dive sites in that small area. It's a unique dive area.
