Shipwreck Milwaukee 7/19/05
Had a fair dive on the Milwaukee last night.  Vis wasn't very good (15ish ft?), and there was a surface current.  Temps were 42-48 on the bottom, and I saw 58 on my guage at the 20ft stop.  I did get to give my new light a try and it works pretty well.  Very Audi like.... ;D

Jerry always gets us there in a friendly and professional manner, unfortunately he doesn't have any control over the conditions on the wrecks.

Deep Blue has charters with Jerry and the Len-Der on Tuesday nights.  Call the store, 964-3483, for details about the destination and sign up information.

I can't wait to dive the new wooden  wreck Jerry was describing last night.
Any new wreck dive is exciting, but one that big should be especially so.

Hopefully when I do I'll be drier than I was yesterday when I "pulled a Todd" and came up soaked Sad

Sounds like you had a bad one Scubert :o  Hate it when that happens.  At least you helped rinse the deck of the Len-Der

Jerry showed me the sidescan image of it and it is very broken up, but looks to be in one large pile, not all over the place like some of the other wrecks I've been on.  However, like you said, a new wreck is a new wreck.  It is in about 120ft of water.

Has Jerry said when these numbers or the new wreck will be made available?

Jerry mentioned that he will be chartering to it.

My guess is he will probably release the #s in his new wreck charts book next spring at Ghost Ships as he did this year with his multiple finds from last season.

I will eagerly await that.  I would even go on his charter if it's the grand opening.  I have dove almost everything he had in his files from last spring.  This summer has been mostly new stuff.  I also hope he includes any other oddball places too....
