Pumpkin Carving

We are having BIG pumpkin fun this Sunday, October 19 starting at 9am.  You can get your gear at Diversions Scuba at 9am.  From 10 until noon, you can carve your pumpkin at Eagle Heights Beach (Madison) - underwater of course!  At noon, we will head back to Diversions Scuba for Jim's famous chili (what? You have never had it?) and brats on the grill.  Pumpkin judging will take place around 1pm at Diversions Scuba.  Prizes will be awarded for top 3 designs.  Other prizes will be awarded for creativity - everyone goes home a winner!  Prizes include Princeton Tec Lights, Sweatshirts, T-shirts, air fill cards, etc.

How it works...Bring your own pumpkin and carving tools.  You should gut the pumpkin prior to diving.  We will put a weight in the pumpkin as pumpkins do float!  You have the option of drawing on the design prior to diving or you can free hand carve for more creativity points.  All carving must be done underwater and in SCUBA gear.  There is a $5 entry fee for your pumpkin which also covers your lunch.

FREE gear rental for all new divers - just show us your certification card from the last year.  Otherwise, gear rental is specially priced at $25.
