Any sightings in Redgranite yet?

I don't seem to remember seeing them until the water temps drop and turnover begins.  I think the earliest that I have seen them is in early October.

I stopped by wednesday, but saw nothing from the surface.  On a hike around, I saw a garter snake, and the monster muskie along the north wall.  Also saw a HUGE bass come up on the east end.  That boy could easily swallow my fist!  Viz didn't look too hot in the southern ends, but looked a lot better on the northeast corner.

I'm starting to think the quarry is going to go to hell, as the wrong trees were cut down, and they pushed a lot of dirt into areas where it will get washed into the quarry.  More dirt, more weeds.  I hope they don't start bulldozing/cutting on the north side where the snake cresches are. :-\
