Whilst you're entitled to opine, it's too much work. Drag everything out, cut hole, set-up ice screws, tie in, dive while someone else tends, switch positions, dive while someone else tends, give safety diver a turn, pack up, plug hole, put up stakes and flags, drag everything back in.....Isn't it easier to just put on your gear and jump in? The open-water season will be in full swing before long, but early spring prep dives have already begun. Indeed, it won't be long now!!!!
I distrust camels, and anyone else who can go a week without a drink.

I would keep the winterizing supplies handy. I'm still looking for a foot of snow and freezing temps. I think you are forgetting that this is Wisconsin.
