Sunset Lake - Excellent!

Had some great diving in at Sunset today/tonight.

Viz was outstanding above the weed line - once you started to get deeper into the boring mud flats it got pretty cloudy, but it was absolutely awesome otherwise.

Lots of little fish are coming out, and got to see a large carp and a big ol' snapping turtle, which was a first for me so that was very cool.

If you like diving Sunset, now is definitely the time to hit this lake up - it's looking great!!

Had a lot of fun at Sunset Lake with the Central Wisconsin Scuba Dive Club.

A good time was had by all. A nice poker dive and good food.

Some interesting people showed up. Here is Todd. He really does go out and dive. Looks serious here. ;D

Here is Jason. He claims that licking the o-ring on his gloves makes them slide on better. It looks like nasty glove love to me.

Who said that diving is not a sexy sport. :-*

We had a great time of diving and good food. Plenty of lies were told and future dives planned. Hope to see you in the water this summer.

It was obviously pretty above the water :-*, how was the vis?

Pretty good actually - 10-15 feet in the shallower portions. The deeper parts (20+ feet) weren't that great, but it was good overall.

Just did not get a lot of good underwater pictures on this run. Too busy collecting the stuff from the poker dive. :'(
