New dive shop in Madison

Rumor has it that a new dive shop is opening up on the west side of Madison the first of June.

Yup,

Fontana Specialty Sports will open a store on Madison's West Side on June 18, taking over the Tree Lane location previously occupied by outdoor retailer Erehwon.

The new store will feature many of the same products and services available at the Downtown store, with an emphasis on fly fishing and scuba diving, said Fontana owner John Hutchinson.

So is it John, Weston, or both that are involved with this store? (or neither?)

I am not at this time other then classes.

I enjoy ther service and expertize when I go in there since both Jeff and Dave have been diving for more then 20 years.

I taught a class for them a couple of year ago. Nice guys, but that state street location was a real pain to try and get tanks filled at.

I am not teaching for them at this point in time, as I do all of my dive buisness in Milwaukee. I am hoping that the new shop will up the level of service in this town.
