Re:Red Granite...
Here is a leaf that I caught up to at 20 feet, slowly sinking into the black. This is like a Halloween thing as it is black at the bottom of Red Granite and the leaf was so pretty. Fall is definitely in the air.

Sometimes the branchs from trees in Red Granite can make an interesting picture. Here is one for you to enjoy. I will let you imagination determine if it is artsy or scary.
Get out and dive, the water is great. Doug |

AAAHHHHH the elusive BOTTLE BASS..I am quite impressed that you were able to capture a photo of this rare species...I personally spent quite a bite of my youth (18-24yrs) : chasing after this creature. Excellent work!!!! ;D

Re:Red Granite...
Spent some time in Red Granite this weekend (10/23-24/2004). Visibility was good above 30 feet, sometines 20 feet. Depends how many students have been in the area. Below 30 it is kind of poor. Better than it has been but still not worth spending a lot of time.
Had some good relaxation with the visibility, enjoyed the wall. |

There were a few fish out. Here is a bass. These guys were very skitish and I had a hard time getting a picture.

Re:Red Granite...
I think that our weeds, sponges and algae are just as good as the weeds, sponges and algae (algae gives coral its color) as they brag about in tropical climates. It is just that they are prejudiced since we are temperature challenged.
Here are some weeds. Through a pretty fish in there and it woudl be the cover of Sport Diver magazine. Tempurature challenged divers unite, there is power in numbers. Doug |
