Amazing the people that you run into at the Wall at Lake Wazee. I wonder if they went over 100 feet deep?

Re:Lake Wazee
Here little fishy. Does the eye seem strange to you? This is how the picture turned out with just color correction. THe eye is spooky to me.

Fear of fish?

Considering the MOD looks to be 280 on that one tank...heh...I'd say so Smile

Re:Lake Wazee
He's one of the regulars up there form Minessota. They have a shop up there that is real big into mixed gas closed circut rebreathers. They do quite a bit of training up there to prep for their deep wreck dives in Lake Superior. IF you check over on the MNSCUBA board they have a whole thread on the dives they do- and yes, they go WAY below 100'.

Re:Lake Wazee
Yeah - I was being extremely facetious on that one Smile I've seen that group quite a bit out at the lake.

Re:Lake Wazee
The deepest part of Wazee that I have known anyone to go is at 355', but the rebreather guys have been talking about hitting 400' in there.

They aren't exactly forthcomming in where that spot is though.

Re:Lake Wazee
There are a lot of maps of the lake when it was still a quarry, and there are maps now that show the depths pretty easily. The 355' are marked on it pretty well, but I don't think the 400' is at all.

Re:Lake Wazee
that's why actually finding 400' in there would be such a prize location- for deep divers at least. Wink
