Oneida county scuba diving help!
Hey, i have a cabin just south of minoqua and i wanted to know if there were any good scuba diving lakes around there. i've already gone diving in little bass lake and sand lake and they werent so great. i already know a lot about wazee and such cuz i work at a dive shop in MN but frequently visit my cabin in oneida county.
and info about lakes in the oneida county area would be of great help thanks JOSH

There are a TON of great lakes up there. My family and I just got back from a week in Vilas county and I hit 6 lakes in 6 days. Timber Bay is the place to check out for local info- great dive shop.
As far as which lakes to dive, well they can be hit or miss. I find the BEST resource for checking out a lake before I dive it is: That way you can tell if there will be any vis in it before you load up and drive out to it. Jon |
