Lake Waubesa
Wondering what there is to see in Lake Waubesa.  Saw some posts about lots of fish which is cool.  Anything else?

I havent ever heard of anyone going in Waubesa by choice.

Its funny because I would have thought after they pulled that car out this summer, the one that disappeared 45 years ago, divers would have been flocking out there to see what else may have been missed.

It's a great lake for spearfishing- for about two weeks in April.  Wink

I've done other clean up dives in there with Four Lakes, but spearing is the real reason to dive it- more fish per cubic foot of water of any lake in the Madison chain according to a fish biologist dive buddy of mine.

Problem with the lake is how fast it goes green- and stays that way.

A nice lake to kayak on and I've paddled it many times with my kids.
