Camera failures - what's your story?

I have avoided the camera flood issue. Do a lot of maintenance and checking of o-rings. I use a digital camera and have found that it is absolutely important to open the camera up-side-down so that no residual water gets in.

Sea and Sea says that 25% of the camera failures they see accured on the surface and most of these are water getting in when opening the camera.

This is the only problem that I have experienced.
