Thanks....like you I am almost (95%) convinced that Curacao diving is better than Bonaire. Less divers, better marine life, etc. etc. The dive operation is now owned by a guy from Colorado, so a lot of the staff are from there, with a few locals thrown in for good measure. The story I heard from them was that a couple owned a dive store in Colorado, then bought the op in Curacao.....gee, what happened next??? They split up....she got the store in Colorado, he took the operation on Curacao with the cliffside home overlooking the water. Who got the better of those two??? The dive staff were pretty laid back. Their only restriction was one hour bottom time max. We didn't make it to town, other than for the trip in and out; we were too busy diving and blinding the marine life with our strobes. C. |
