Thunder Bay, Michigan, Labor Day weekend

Hi Guys and Gals!

Hoofers Scuba has three openings for a trip to the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary off Alpena, Michigan, Sept. 1st through 4th. I'm opening the trip up to non-Hoofers members, because I need a full boat to reach my budget. The cost of the trip is $350, and includes 6 dives over two days, tank fills, transportation, and lodging at a local rustic camping ground.

This trip is a little different than usual. We will be receiving training in underwater archeology techniques by NOAA scientists as part of the trip. Minimum required certification is PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent.

Contact me directly via email or PM if you are interested, since I have to waive the usual Hoofer membership fee on a per person basis.

I'll be out from this afternoon until Thursday evening, so I won't necessarily be able to respond immediately.
