Re: How 'bout a decompression theory thread? (OC Deco gases with helium)
I will dig you up some articles in the next week. I am out of town tomorrow for 4 days. The likely hood of skin bends is removed/reduced by using argon.
Not sure what V-planner gives you as a ball park but as a refernce I would do something close to this for the 240 for 20 dive I would discount half my decent time buying an extra 2minutes on the bottom so 15/85 for 22ish Start making short stops from 180 - 130 120 switch 35/25 for 3 110 -2 100-2 90-2 80-2 70-2 60-2 50-3 40-3 30-5 20 - on 02- 8 off for 3 on for 8 3-5 minute ascent Should be a low 70minute runtime Without argon and no He at 120 you have a huge Phe and Pn2 diferential of on and off gasing. You will likely feel signed of narcosis and dizziness from gas tissues in your inner ear, and the instant Total pressure of the gases without HE. I have to dig, but will get some stuff to you via email. The above table is not recomended and may lead to DCS for anyone attempting to use it with or without a full understanding of the varibles it is set around. You cannot learn to dive on the net... What do you figure you gas will be for Sunday? |
