big ol' catfish or lake sturgeon in Big Cedar?

I'd guess sturgeon.

I ran across a 6' in Monona and my buddy got a few pictures of it. I've also ridden some in the 4' range. They are pretty neat and very old- at least the big ones are really old.

Of course it course it could always be a giant carp.   Here's a few that we pulled out of Golden lake a couple of weeks ago. The smaller ones ran 20 pounds and the biggest was 30 pounds. The state record is more than twice that. I've run across a few catfish, but never anything that came close to the size of the carps or sturgeons areound here.
