Article about Moonlight in Der Spiegel [German]
One of the Wisconsin Historical Society projects last summer as to study the Moonlight, which sank in Lake Superior in 1903. The effort was recently written up in Der Spiegel, a German weekly news-magazine (equivalent to Time or Newsweek here). I can't read German, but I at least enjoyed trying to recognize some phrases and looking at the photos and the video (by Ken Merryman). Perhaps there are some German-speakers on wiscuba who might enjoy it:

Ethan- Just a small correction- This was a GLSPS (Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society) project. Here is a link to a description on their website: . WHS only assisted with the project to list the wreck on the National Register of Historic Places. Tami |
