Might be, but it doesn't mention any diving, just the ROV. I would guess if it were divable wiith in "reasonable" limits they would have done it

I don't disagree that it is a war grave, but the majority of the wrecks in the Great Lakes have involved loss of life.  What is your feeling on us diving them?  The Cedarville, for example, had many more lost than the Edmund Fitzgerald, but no where near the publicity.  It is a very popular dive site.

I try to treat every wreck with respect.

Like Chris said, most are graves. If it were a couple hundred feet shallower, I'd be interested in diving it. If the Edmund Fitzgerald were shallower there would be (more?) trouble with sneak divers.
