Spearfishing Madison!

Spearfishing anyone? It's about time to try something new.  It's Diversions Scuba's Spearfishing Social and Friday Night Fish Fry (or pizza).

Join us for a new take on the finest of Wisconsin traditions...! On the second Friday of each month, beginning in May and lasting until we can't get in the water anymore, Diversions will host a Spearfishing Social and Fish Fry.

Join us at 4 p.m. and head out to the Madison area lakes! According to DNR regulations we can spear pan fish and rough fish in the Madison Lakes (with a fishing license). If you want to spear carp, that's fine and encouraged as it will clean them out of the local ecosystem, but the pan fish sound like better eatin'!  And, if no one spears any fish, we'll order a couple of pizzas and have a good time anyway!

WHEN: The kick-off event is Friday, May 14th.  Meet us at Diversions Scuba around 4PM and head out from there.
WHERE: Lake Mendota, Lake Monona
COOKOUT: Back at Diversions Scuba around 6:30PM
REQUIRED: Wisconsin Fishing License, scuba gear, spear gun (although, we have a couple of spear guns that we can loan out to try)
BYO: Beverage of choice.
