Open water?
Anyone know of any open water in a diveable, Wisconsin, location?  The Mississippi River is open here in La Crosse, but I have no intent of diving in it.  Lake Michigan would be great, but we need a boat.

Re: Open water?
Last year, first dives at Wazee was on April 3. The year before something like the 13. Don't think early April will happen, unless we get a lot of rain along with warm weather, but mid April should be do-able. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Open water?

Are you directing that towards diving Piquette?  No club membership required.  All we do is ask that you come diving with someone that has been there before.  Similar to many of the requirements on Florida caves we ask that you go with someone with experience at the site due to the unique hazards present at the site as well as the extremely sensitive landowner relationships.
Everyone spends the first nine months of their life in water.  The lucky ones make frequent return visits.
