Re:Lannon Quarry
Doesn't look too bad - viz and pictures like that actually make me want to try the place out! ;D

Re:Lannon Quarry
I think it is still better than Flynns Quarry, at least when the jellyfish are not out. ;D

Re:Lannon Quarry
I'd like to sometime...I've just got to find the time.

I took a look at my calendar...and just about every weekend from now until the end of summer...I'm either camping, diving or camping somewhere so that I can go diving (ie, dive trip).

Of course, I'm not really complaining all that much, but dang...I gotta leave a few weekends open here and there.

Re:Lannon Quarry
We were in Lannon last night and the vis was OK. There are a ton of blue gills, and a few big bass. The visibility below the crud layer was at least 15 ft.

Re:Lannon Quarry
I was there today doing some freediver training and we had just about the best vis I've ever seen, aside from ice diving, in the bottom layer-around 50'.

Vis between 28' and 43' was a good 20' in all directions. Below 45' it was stirred up, but you could still see at least 5'.

Are there any maps or directions to this dive site around?
