Rough Waters off Port Washington - Northerner Not Buoyed
Despite the forecast of >1' waves the conditions yesterday evening off Port were more like 1-3' with random 4' waves.
Did NOT find the Northerner, so we dove the Niagra. Kind of a downer, but I guess s**t happens. On the up-side, it was a very pretty night out on the lake. A near full moon was visible down the 40' to the wreck. |

I've never been diving in Port when there wasn't a pretty good current

I talked to Terry today at work. He was out there fishing the same time we were. He estimates 5-6 ft waves. I'm glad I didn't know they were that big when we were out there! ;D
