Suggestions and advice

I am working on putting togther camping/scuba trips for this summer for the four lakes club and fontana sports.

These will be a scuba/ camping weekend based event. The places I am consider are the following;

Gilbert Lake
Lower Long Lake
Crystal Lake

Does any one have advice, stories or any informatiion about any of these they are willing to share?

I suspect you will need to be more specific about which lakes you are considering.  Perhaps a county they are located in?  I know there is a Crystal Lake near Elkhart Lake and I somehow don't think that is where you are planning to camp.

Are you talking about up by Minocqua/Woodruff area ?

I agree with Chris, there are roughly 36 Crystal Lakes in Wisconsin.  Some are great to dive and some are terrible.  The Long Lake that I like is near Saxeville in Waushara County, but I do not know of a campground.  Gilbert Lake is nearby, again I do not know of a nearby campground.

Can give you more specifics if I was sure of the lakes.
