Got a wedding I'm standing up in...no diving for me

No Excuse!  I was in a wedding Saturday and made it out for two dives on the Rousse Simmons today.

I attended the demo days at Wazee.

It was pretty cool - they have a nice setup where you work your through a large tent getting fitted for their zip seals, choosing underwear, and then finally a suit and alternate fins/hood if needed.

I got to dive a TLS350 and an FLX 50/50. Definitely liked the feel of the CF200 material on the legs of the FLX 50/50 better than straight trilam. Compared the rock boots vs. the turbo soles also - like the boots way better (but I'd probably just buy a set of converse chuck taylor knock offs for cheap at Walmart/Shopko).

They give you a free hat and a coupon for some free options if you buy a suit.

They even cook lunch for you. Really a nice way to try some high end suits out.

The whole fathers day thing killed Sunday for me too   Highly depressing....  I'm hoping to get out next weekend for a day.

Does anyone know how/if Matt Johnston's OW dive went?

I saw Matt do his dive - it went great from what I could tell. He got in about 2:30pm I think.

There was a small RIB following him with the ventilator in it and I heard the dive briefing - he was going to 5' and then 10' for awhile. There were two main divers that were his buddies and a lot of camera folks around.

I'm sure he'll post here soon.
