Going to Thunder Bay (Alpena, MI) need advice

Does anyone know of any worthwhile shipwrecks in Thunder Bay that you can shore dive? Not really interested in lumber piles so the really shallow ones are out. My friend up there has a smaller boat so nearby offshore wrecks are of interest as well. Suggestions please.

Have you tried contacting anyone at the marine sanctuary?  They'd probably be able to give you lots of info.
