Dive report Beaver Dam Lk

Dove Beaver Dam at Cumberland 2 days ago, May 10th. Went in by boat launch and dock at campgrounds.  Vis approx. 20' - 25', water temp 48 deg at 25'. Bathrooms and changing room open.

What kind of fish did you see in Beaver Dam Lake?  And what was the temperature in the first 10 feet or so?

Holy Crap.  When I saw the posting I thought, How could anyone dive this lake?  I live in Beaver Dam, WI.  We have a lake called Beaver Dam Lake with a max depth of 7' and max viz of nothing.  Whew!

I used a computer that doesn't have temp on it, my dive buddy didn't check temp during the dive. Her computers dive log registered 48, but I assume that was lowest temp. but not really sure. I dove in Square Lake a week earlier and on that dive I did have a computer with temp and it was 57, it felt coolder than that in Beaver Dam.

As for fish, we did't see much of anything, but have to admit I'm looking for goodies more than fish.

I've been diving in Library Bay one time and remember a lot of bass following us around, we were just kind of collecting them as we went... of course you also see sunnies.

Where's Library Bay?

Library Bay is the southern end of the western part of the lake... I believe it was the boat launch area at Water St and 4th Ave that we entered & exited.
