And then there are those who just don't feel the need for a label other than the one they were given at birth. LOL

There are lots of divers doing incredible dives that are cutting edge. Some of it in caves that most others won't touch even for a short dive. It does seem though that some of the DIR guys are more into talking about what they do on their web sites than some others.

My advice is to use the best methods, equipment and configuration you can find. If you want to call it DIR, ok
