Pleasant Lake was 54 degrees this past weekend and Devil's Lake was about the same two weeks ago when I was there.
I was there on a VERY windy day and the vis was less than 10'. This last week my dive buddy was out there taking some measurements for the university. He said that the lake is clearing up FAST, as the daphnia counts are starting to boom- they eat all of the other little critters that spoil the vis. The DNR also decided to stock Devil's Lake with trout this year which means that we can no longer spearfish there.  On the bright side of things, I saw a school of over 300 brown trout swimming around in less than 5' of water when I was there last time.  Jon |
